Bloomington Indiana is up the road from Evansville about 2 hours, a drive that we are happy to make frequently just so we can go to the amazing Woolery Farmers Market — but don’t fret, we always include a hike after our market shopping, as the native beauty in the Bloomington area is wonderful as well. Bloomington is more hip than Evansville, both in food culture and arts, as it is a college town.
The Woolery Market is a year-round market with plenty o’ organic produce, meat, dairy, and baked items available. We used to carry a cooler in our car, but now that we drive Vanda up there, we can put perishables into the refrigerator.
Here is how to get there.
Oh, that broccoli makes me so happy!
